Banquet Manager (Hourly) – Experienced

We are seeking an experienced Banquet Manager to join our hospitality team and oversee the successful execution of private events, banquets, and special functions. The ideal candidate is highly organized, service-focused, and experienced in coordinating events from setup through completion while ensuring exceptional guest experiences.

This position is hourly and requires a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and can effectively manage staff, timelines, and guest expectations. This position requires open availability, with lots of nights, weekends and holidays required.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the execution of banquet and private events from setup to breakdown.
Coordinate with kitchen, service staff, and management to ensure seamless event flow.
Supervise banquet staff, assign duties, and maintain high service standards.
Ensure event rooms are set according to banquet event orders (BEOs) and guest specifications.
Communicate clearly with clients, vendors, and internal departments.
Maintain quality, presentation, and timing of food and beverage service.
Monitor labor and staffing levels based on event needs.
Address guest needs and resolve issues quickly and professionally.
Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and company policies.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2–3 years banquet or management experience required.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent organization and communication abilities.
Ability to manage multiple events and timelines simultaneously.
Knowledge of food & beverage service standards.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Professional appearance and guest-focused attitude.
